Fresh pasta for lunch


It’s our first time making pasta! Quite manageable but as we don’t have a pasta machine .. rolling , cutting and shaking out the noodle are kinda time consuming ! But it’s all worth it when kids and hubby enjoyed eating their lunch today 😍🎉

    • ingredients:
      2 cups of AP flour
      3 large egg
      1/2 tsp sea salt

Methods:
. In a big bowl, mix flour and salt evenly and make a well in the middle
. Cracked 3 eggs into the well and gently whisk the eggs with a fork/ small spatula
. Slowly mix in the flour from the wall
. Mix in flour from bottom until it’s difficult to mix
. Roll out the dough and knead in the dry flour with hand till getting a smooth and elastic dough ball
. Flour the dough a little and let dough rest for 30 mins in silicone bag
. Cut into 4 portions
. Keep 3 floured portions into silicone bag while working on one of the portion
. roll it into thin sheet (as thin as you can) and flour the dough sheet before folding them up into 4 layers
. Cut the folded dough sheet into strips
. Shake or uncoiling the strips out to get your pasta 😊
. Boil pasta in salted water for 4-6 mins before mixing up with sauce of your choice
. We freeze half portion of the noodle ! Shall see if they are as tasty as the freshly made and boiled ones ☺️
