Quick lunch for the kids

Zucchini fritters – recipe from @bakeplaysmile (we are using dairy-free shredded Parmesan cheese from @followyourheart )

Kids love this fritter made of simple ingredients! grated zucchini, egg, minced garlic, parmesan cheese, self-raising flour with salt and pepper. For detailed recipe, you may refer to Lucy’s post on the link above.

Turmeric rice – recipe from @sweetpeasandsaffron 

We tweaked Denise’s a little by sautéing the uncooked rice with the spices over a pan before cooking it in the rice cooker and also added vegetable stock from @kallo. When the rice is cooked, we added in raisins and fluffed up the rice before serving. I wish you could smell the rice !
